Online Rules Beyond Painted Hand Casino
Saskatchewan has one legal online gambling site, PlayNow.com, open to players aged 19 and older. Here you will find the rules behind that, how far self-exclusion reaches, and how the home page's paid links work.

What the rules say
In Saskatchewan, the only legal site for online gambling is PlayNow.com. SIGA runs it; that is the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, a First Nations non-profit. It launched in the province in November 2022. Play is open only to adults of 19 and over, the legal gambling age everywhere in Saskatchewan.
No licence exists for private online casinos in Saskatchewan. The provincial government calls the sites competing with PlayNow illegal platforms. If you live in Yorkton, Melville or Canora, the same provincial rules apply to you as anywhere else.
Two bodies share the oversight. Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan, a Crown corporation known as LGS, oversees lotteries and gaming in the province. The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, or SLGA, regulates.
Self-exclusion and online play
Game Break is the program of Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw. You opt in yourself, and the ban covers PlayNow.com and every Saskatchewan casino for 6 months at least, 5 years at most. After it begins, nobody can shorten the term or lift it.
To start SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion, go to any SIGA casino, or make an appointment at SIGA's Central Office in Saskatoon. The length is your choice, at least 6 months and up to 5 years, and the ban applies at every one of the nine casinos in Saskatchewan. Neither program reaches a private online casino site.
How this guide earns money
This guide earns money from paid links, and only the home page carries them. Each carries an Ad label. The private online casino partner behind them goes unnamed here, and it may change.
That partner holds no Saskatchewan licence. In Saskatchewan, the only legal online gambling site is PlayNow.com. SIGA self-exclusion and Game Break do not reach the partner's site.
Nobody pays for the links to Painted Hand Casino, SIGA, the province or the help services. If gambling is causing problems for you or someone in your family, the Saskatchewan Problem Gambling Helpline is at 1-800-306-6789. Trained counsellors answer the line 24 hours, and calls cost nothing and stay confidential.
